Anxiety
Anxiety is an inevitable part of the human experience and at times, it can actually help protect us. It rarely feels helpful in the moment however, and we do everything possible to eliminate those feelings because of how awful it feels. My approach is to change your relationship with anxiety, from one of control and avoidance, to one of acceptance. We will work to let your thoughts and feelings exist without trying to change them or get rid of them.

Depression
With depression, we often believe all the bullying things our brains tell us about ourselves and the world around us: I’m worthless, I’m a loser, this feels hopeless, etc. When working with depression, I assist individuals in changing their relationship to these unhelpful thoughts and leaning in to what really matters to them to find more fulfilling lives.

Grief & Loss
Grief is the normal and natural reaction to significant emotional loss of any kind. Often times, we feel that we are only allowed to feel grief when we experience a death. However, there are many different types of loss that can elicit grief: divorce, death of a pet, moving, infertility, etc. As a society, we struggle to make space for grief and it can feel downright uncomfortable to talk about grief and loss. I am passionate about providing a space to process the complexities of these experiences.
